Scope of the Works:

Works Comprised:

  1. Demolition and removal of existing pontoon, timber jetty and fishing stands.
  2. Installation of temporary sheet piled cofferdam approx. 60m long.
  3. Excavation and dredging approx. 2,500m3.
  4. Construction of rock armoured retaining wall including concrete infill to armour low water mark.
  5. Construction of sheet piled Landing Platform including concrete pilecap and timber cladding to sheet piles.
  6. Installation of 4No Dia. 406mm pontoon locating piles. Due to ground conditions encountered including rock outcrops, the piles were founded in 3m deep excavated sockets and surrounded in concrete.
  7. Design, manufacture and installation of 2No 15m access bridges, landing platforms and 60m long pontoon including services’ installation.
  8. Construction of riverside path including Scotch Quay handrailing, access road and turning area.
