Approx. 320m of new coastal defences comprising 23m long slope of 2T Armour at a gradient of 1 in 4 with 4T Armour at a slope of 1 in 2 forming protection to a 3m wide pathway at the top of the slope.
Construction of 63m long x 7m wide reinforced concrete slipway. Ashleigh manufactured the precast concrete downstand beams for the slipway off site and placed these on site under tidal conditions with an insitu 225mm deep RC slab.
Variation to the contract awarded in October 2002 to construct 94m length of reinforced concrete masonry-clad wall to form a new promenade with associated 3m wide pavement and seating.
