Construction of new Retaining Wall with PC Caisson Wall Units retaining material to MLWS with rock armoured revetment above same. The new structure had to be constructed within a sheet piled cofferdam with the lowest level caisson units placed approx. 2.5m below MLWS.
Dredging of approx. 9,000m3 within Harbour Inner Basin and loading material onto N.I.F.H.A. split hopper barge for disposal at sea.
Installation of 6No Pontoon locating piles within Harbour Basin. Piles were installed by excavating pockets within the hard clay seabed and setting individual piles supported in a frame whilst 32m3 foundations were infilled with underwater concrete.
Refurbishment of a section of Quay Wall on the North Pier comprising new Caisson Wall.
