Constructing 400m long access roadway across agricultural lands down to beach level.
Offloading and haulage by dumptruck of approx. 50,000T Armour & Underlayer (supplied free issue by Pierse) down to beach level.
Excavation of approx. 16,000m3 in beach material to construct Toe of proposed Armoured Revetment on rock-bed and to allow for regarding of previous landfill material.
Construction of Armoured Revetment approx. 350m in length and a slope length of 15m comprising:-
Geotextile membrane to graded slope
6T Toe stones
Underlayer 1300mm thick 350kg to 550kg clean graded stone
Primary Armour to slopes in 2500mm thick layer of 3.5T to 5.5T Armour
Enkamat and topsoil to form path at top of completed embankment.
